italiacittadarte.com is a PERSONAL BLOG about CULTURAL TRAVELLING TROUGHOUT ITALY, an ongoing project based in ITALY, owned by Patrizia Zampieri, who is also data controller.

What personal data I collect and why

1_ Data you voluntarily submit and that are essential to leave a comment, subscribe to comments, subscribe to the newsletter, send a contact or collaboration request:

  • name
  • email
  • website (optional)

2_Data that are automatically collected and are needed for

  • website maintenance and security
  • traffic overview
  • spam protection
  • visualize embedded content from other websites
  • social media interaction

Comments

When you leave a comment I collect the data shown in the comments form, and also your IP address and browser user agent string to help spam detection.

Once published, the comment and its metadata are retained indefinitely. This is so the system can recognize and approve any follow-up comments automatically instead of holding them in a moderation queue.

If you leave a comment you may opt-in to saving your name, email address and website in cookies. These are for your convenience so that you do not have to fill in your details again when you leave another comment. These cookies will last for 1 year.

This site uses AKISMET (https://automattic.com/privacy/) as anti-spam plugin.

An anonymized string created from your email address (also called a hash) may be provided to the GRAVATAR service to see if you are using it. The Gravatar service privacy policy is available here: https://automattic.com/privacy/. After approval of your comment, your profile picture is visible to the public in the context of your comment.

Comments will be manually approved; should any of them appear offensive, inappropriate or not in line with the purpose of this blog, will be ignored and deleted.

Cookies

At present this site only uses TECHNICAL COOKIES by default WordPress, and has installed no analytics nor profiling cookies (with the exception of comments – see the previous paragraph – and embedded content – as explained in the following paragraph).

This site has installed the following plugins:
